Executive Director of Administration:
The administrative director ensures all logistical aspects of the commission are addressed. This includes sending weekly emails and minutes to the commission staff, monitoring attendance, and making sure the physical office has all supplies needed to remain in operation.
External Finance Director:
The Academic Affairs Commission oversees two funding resources for student groups: the Academic Success Referendum Fund (ASRF) and AAC Mini Grants. The External Finance Director oversees the external finance committee that reviews all funding applications and works to allocate appropriate funding to student groups.
Mini Travel Fund Director:
The Travel Mini Fund Director is the governing body of the Travel Mini Fund. The Travel Mini Fund Director is responsible for deciding the allocations of applicants for both undergraduates and student groups, and overseeing the process of application for the Travel Mini Fund.
Media and Marketings Directors are responsible for all advertising efforts to increase visibility of the office and its services, resources, and events online. This position is incredibly important for showcasing to the campus community what programs, initiatives, and advocacy work the AAC office is pursuing on campus. This director is responsible for updating and maintaining the website, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. This director is responsible for creating Facebook events and ensuring staff promotes all AAC programming via social media.
Brandon Magno (Media), Sarah Smyth (Marketing)
Graphic Designers are responsible for designing the AAC T-Shirt, flyers, and programs related to AAC policy and program initiatives. This position is incredibly important for showcasing to the campus community what programs, initiatives, and advocacy work the AAC office is pursuing on campus.
Maddy Ngo, Mrinaalika Sivakumar
After working for hours and days on end, there must be a reward given to the staff of the AAC office. The Staff Development team is in charge of honoring a star staffer each week (aka AAChampion) as well as promoting team building within the office. This team is in charge of promoting team building/bonding activities as well as planning quarterly retreats for the AAC office staff. Due to the volume of the AAC office, this team will have a huge responsibility for maintaining morale relations outside of weekly meetings as well.
